cEDH at the 2026 HBMO

2025 was an amazing year for competitive commander at our event. We’re really excited to ramp up the tournament for 2026.

CLG Showdown 40: The Road to Greatness
9:00am, Saturday March 14th.
$80 Entry
6 rounds of swiss play on Saturday
Top cut based on the number of players will be played on Sunday
$10,000+ in card prizes

The main cEDH event is similar to last year, but we’re going to avoid playing well into the night, and invite our top cut players back to play on Sunday. If you don’t make the top cut, we will have something for you as well.

Introducing the Sunday Shootout! We will play 3 swiss rounds, and the winner of each pod will receive a random fetchland. We have a pool of lands ranging from recent prints to exciting foils, old borders, and possibly even some showcase highlights. The fechlands aren’t all that there is to win though! The players who go 2-0 in the first two rounds will instead compete in pods where the winners each recieve a revised dual land! We aren’t skimping here either, expect some sweet prizes from this event.

Sunday cEDH Shootout
10:00am, Sunday, March 15th
$50 entry
3 rounds of swiss play
The winner of each pod recieves a random fetchland from the pool
The winner of 2-0 pods (undefeated players) each recieve a revised dual land
Timing Rules: 100 minute rounds. No extra turns. Incomplete games will be draws with no winner after 100 minutes.

We’re also really excited to introduce trials for byes for cEDH. Byes can be incredibly powerful in this format, so we expect good attendance on Friday for a chance to get one round ahead on Saturday.

Friday cEDH Trials For Byes
10:00am; 12:00pm; 2:00pm
$20 entry
Single elimination. 2-0 players receive one bye in the cEDH championship. Only one bye per player may be won.
Timing Rules: 100 minute rounds. No extra turns. Incomplete games will be draws with no winner after 100 minutes.
Players receive 16 prize chips per win in addition to bye prizes.

Finally, we have on-demand cEDH pods available all weekend.
