Health and Safety Guidelines

The HBM has always had the health and safety of our supporters and attendees on its mind, and listened extensively to community feedback about how to run our events. This led us to the cancellation of our 2020 event, and mask requirements at our 2021 and 2022 events.

Our current policy, in line with community expectations, is that masks are not required to attend the 2023 event. We still strongly recommend that anyone at high risk for COVID-19 wear a well-fitting mask, or stay home as they deem appropriate. You can read more about the CDC’s recommendations here.

Anyone who experiences symptoms or tests positive for COVID or any other contagious disease should not attend the event.
